The risk management for pension funds under the IORPII regulation is centred in the Own Risk Assessment. In the new IOPRII regulation pension funds are required to perform an Own Risk Assessment once every three years or earlier if necessary. The Own Risk Assessment forces pension funds to bundle all elements of risk management into an integrated assessment.

The web session regarding the Own Risk Assessment illustrates the set-up of this risk assessment based on the requirements according to IOPRII and the experience with the ORSA under Solvency II. The Own Risk Assessment is illustrated based on the interpretation of the guidelines of IORPII and with practical examples.

This web lecture is suitable for risk managers working at pension funds. There is no strong accent on the technical aspects of risk management, but there is more focus on the set up of the Own Risk Assessment. Therefore, no specific technical knowledge is required.
